Field Practical Guide - Turf Enhancement

Personal Protection Equipment required:
 
● Ear Plugs
● Safety Glasses
● Gloves
● Work Boots 

Equipment & Tools needed:
● Core Aerator
● Push Spreader
● Fuel

Materials needed:  
● Grass Seed

Pre-Training Session Preparation:

● Select location for training.
● Schedule training session with student(s).
● Make sure everyone participating has the Personal Protection Equipment.
● Collect and have ready the needed equipment and materials. 

Step 1: Demonstrate 
● Check for irrigation heads. These should be marked ahead of time.
● Proper use of the Core Aerator.
● Proper use of the spread.
● Clean up after work is complete.
                    ●Installation of service sign if required.

Step 2: Observe:
● Have the student demonstrate proper use of the equipment back to you.

Step 3: Re-Demonstrate:
● Point out what the student did correctly.
● Demonstrate what the student should improve upon.
